Still stumbling around in Storyline... I got a sound clip on a slide and I tested it prior to preview with success. However, once in preview the sound doesn't play? Does it need to be a different sound file?

What type of sound file are you using? Is it recorded narration, or a sound file you inserted into the course? What file type is the audio file, if it was inserted?
Also, how are you calling the sound file into the slide? Is it simply placed on the timeline, or are you trying to have it play when triggered, etc.?
If you can give us more information or share the file (as Josh suggested), maybe we can get this working for you. :)

Hard to say what is going on without seeing your project. Is the sound listed in the base layer timeline?
