I'm writing a course that involved geometry for an engineering company. I need to use the pythagorean theorem (a^2 + b^2 = c^2) but I've noticed that I can't get a square root of a number. I am trying to go for a user input for a and b variables and have an output be c. Is there some easy way to do this or would I need java script? I am new to java as well, which is why I need help in the first place. Thanks everyone!

Currently, Storyline only supports addition, subtraction, multiplication and division. So yeah, anything beyond that would require some creativity. Hopefully someone will be able to help out with that stuff, but wanted to suggest that you put in a feature request for more complex equations.

I guess your only option is to use JAVAscript for this
There's a function call Math.sqrt(x);
