States not acting as set up

I upgraded yesterday...and since then, my states are not acting like I have set them up. In certain "hover" instances, the default shape (rounded rectangle) is used, instead of the modified shape...I literally copied the normal state. So, I deleted the hover state and recreated, but the same error happened again. Also, I put a recolored image on a "disabled" state, however, it only showed the original image...not the recolored image.
