Stopping and Playing Audio

Sep 18, 2018

Hi There,

I am new to using Articulate 360 and have a question about stopping and playing audio.  It is a health and safety course for students, and they have the option of listening to audio for the course, or having no audio.  Do I need to add/or what triggers would I add to the 'audio' and 'no audio' buttons as seen in the attachment below?  And then for the subsequent slide, which is the 'Course Units' slide (and all slides after that) how do I ensure the audio plays if they have chosen to listen to audio, and stop the audio if they do not want it?  I hope this makes sense.  Thanks!

Hello, Darryl!

It looks like you're off to a good start. On the 'Course Units' slide, you already have triggers to stop or play the audio, depending on the value of the audioshouldplay variable.

Do you also have triggers on the introductory slide to adjust the audioshouldplay variable to True or False, depending on which button the learner clicks?

If you don't mind sharing a sample of your file, I can get a better idea of the functionality you've set up.
