Stopping Audio playing a second time.

Hi,
I have a "hub" menu slide.
1> 3 x buttons are disabled until 2 seconds from the end of the slide when I use the "blue rectangle" trick to enable them.
2> The buttons fire off scenes, and at the end of each scene a variable changes, which adds a "tick" to the menu item when you return to the menu.
How do I disable the audio from playing a second time when you return to the menu slide again?
I'm sure I can do it via a variable, but just cannot figure out the syntax - help would be appreciated. I've used this menu setup a few times, but never with the audio, so hitting this for the first time.
Thanks.
Bruce

Hey, Bruce!
Does this simple demo work?
Thanks Gerry.
Sort of almost, but there are a few too many things going on with the slide, and it resets them :(
I will have to have a play.
Thanks again.
Bruce
Hmmm, resets them?
If the value of a variable determines if a sound plays or not, and you have control over that variable, wonder how it gets reset? Are you seeing a bug? Just curious . . .
I'm struggling with the same issue. I want the audio narration not to play when the user returns to the main menu. I copied across the trigger from the above menu and setup a variable. However, the audio continues to play. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Hi Tom and welcome to E-Learning Heroes! Is there a .story file that you can share here so that someone could pop in and take a look? Unfortunately, it looks as if Bruce did not find resolution either.
