Storline no longer importing PPTs

Has anyone had success importing PPTs into storyline with an Adobe Presenter 8 Add-In? I have courses I created with Adobe Presenter and so it is a current add-in on my PPT ribbon. I have had Storyline fsince Nov. 2013 and in the past and had no issue importing PPTs. Recently, I tried to import and recieved the failed error message. I have gone to the page and read the reasons why it could fail to import and have repaired Microsoft Office - still no importing of PPT.

I have a feeling the Adobe Presenter 8 Add-In is causing the issue but I don't want to disable that feature every time I Need to import a PPT.

Any suggestions?

If you want to send me the file I can try to import it with SL and see if it imports on my end. Otherwise, you could send the fie to Articulate support and they can see as well. I do not have Adove Presenter installed so I cannot compare apples to apples...

Hi Rob - thanks! I will send the PPT - since you do not have Adbobe Presenter I am going to guess it will import for you but let's give it a whilr.

Hi Heather and welcome to Heroes!

I'm going to guess it has to do with Adobe Presenter being installed as an add in...as I was successfully able to import the ppt into Storyline. It did take a couple minutes, but it all looks fine.

Thanks Ashley - as it turned out I needed to update Storyline and once I did that I was able to import the PPT without having Adobe Presenter disabled.
