I've created a little timeline interaction and am trying to upload it into our Canvas LMS. The one set of directions I found here on the Articulate forum (dated two years ago), indicates I need to upload the .story zip file. But when I publish the file, it saves on my desktop as "Storyline output" and no zip file is in sight.
Needless to say, Canvas isn't letting me upload the "output" file so I can't get the thing to play. Nor can I test it in ScormCloud because ScormCloud requires a zip file too in order to upload.
If you are new to zipping, I suggest you use the option in the publish dialog (which doesn't show until after you publish) to find out exactly how the zip file should look. Some methods of zipping can create an extra level of folders that prevents the LMS from working correctly.
Hi, HR -- Thanks for reaching out! And in addition to the great advice you have already received, I thought I might also stop in to share this step-by-step tutorial on Publishing for LMS. Hope that helps and let us know if you still have questions! :)

In the publish dialogue there is an option to zip the file or you can open the folder and zip the contents yourself.
