Is anyone having issues with Story View? I have a rather large file (approximately 47MB) that is giving me grief. It freezes when I try to add another scene, but is fine in I'm in any other view.
I haven't heard of a particular issue with Story view and only adding a scene. Are all your scenes collapsed to show the smaller thumbnails of the slides within them? Can you confirm you're working on your Storyline files following these guidelines:
You should also make sure the directory pathto your project files and your published output is less than 260 characters(for example C:\Articulate).
Avoid using special characters, accents orsymbols in your file names.
Also, is it just this one particular file or all your Storyline files? If it's just one file I'd recommend importing it into a new project to see if the behavior improves. If it's happening on all your files, you may want to look into conducting the repair of Storyline. I'd also recommend closing down other programs or applications while working within Storyline.

Could you have a look at my file and see if you can open it? I tried the troubleshooting options you recommended.
Does a hyphen or colon count as a special character?
It seems that the only workaround is to ensure that at least one scene is open in Normal view. Otherwise, the program freezes.
