Storyline 1 to Storyline 2 (Converting older files result in an error)

Jan 07, 2015

Hey all,

So just a quick introduction of the problem. I have recently moved from Articulate Storyline 1 to Articulate Storyline 2. Thus far, with minimal problems (present scenario excluded).

The issue seems to be in trying to convert one particular set of modules from Storyline 1 to Storyline 2. I am working on these files from a local source as described by Articulate yet I still receive an error message telling me the file is corrupt or from a previous version.

I thought perhaps the file was corrupt but since then I have successfully opened the said file on a different computer and using Articulate Storyline 1.  This would seem to indicate that the issue lies in the conversion itself?

Has anyone else had a similar problem and if so how have you gone about fixing it?

Thanks for any and all help!

Hello to the both of you and thank you for the warm reception.

I am unfortunately unable to upload the module in question due to the nature of the material in the module (I do not personally own the rights to its content).

Also, Leslie as per your suggestion I have attempted to import the file in the Storyline 2 project, however, I am met with a message informing me that it is being used by another process or that I do not have the proper security permission to access this resource.

Thanks again for your time and suggestions!
