Storyline 2 - Adding "Attachments" to Player Tab
By

In Storyline 2, when adding an "Attachments" tab from Features Menu, it opens up the "Trigger Wizard" after tab has been created. I've completed the wizard a number of ways attempting to get the .pdf to display with no success. In the standard Storyline version, this did not occur when creating a Tab and adding the attachments. When I select "Resources" as the tab to display, I can add the .pdf file and it displays perfectly. Need help in determining what I'm doing wrong with the attachments.

Hello Jesse!
I was able to add a pdf file to a new tab in the player without issues. Please make sure that you are working locally as described here. Also, you may want to try importing the file into a new file and see if that helps.
You could also try to repair Storyline if this issue continues.
This works for me, see the trigger setup below and here is a published example: http://dev.keypointlearn.com/xcl73_SL2/Attachment/V1/story.html
Jesse, check that the name of your PDF isn't too long. I had that issue once, but it was resolved when I renamed the file with a shorter name.
Thank you for the fast response. I was able to follow the suggestions, and it worked.
thanks for the update Jesse.
Glad you got this to work.
