As I try to save any of my Storyline files, they freeze. It will freeze up or say that Storyline is not responding. I have to shut down windows most the time. I am saving them to a local drive and the characters are <260. I have not used Storyline for about six months.
I'd agree with Wendy's thought here - and if you're still having difficulty after going through the repair, I'd want to get you working with our Support Engineers quickly so that we can get you situated and working again!

Did you try all the repair steps here or just the basic reinstall? If you're still having difficulty can you also confirm that you're working with the latest update of Storyline 2 Update 10?

SL2 freezes multiple times on Windows 10, needed 5 reboots in one day.
I needed to uninstall it and reinstall it. It is working for now, I hope I don't have to do it again, I think there is a gap on full compatibility between Windows 10 and SL2. That issue is not present in other computers with Windows 7.
I know a number of our team use Windows 10 and SL2 without incident, so if you're having difficulty I'd want to have you connect with our Support Engineers so that they could dig a bit deeper into what is happening with your specific set up. Are you able to reach out to them using the link I shared above?

try updating to the latest update SL2 update 10 and if that doesn't work perhaps a repair is needed
