Ive built a module and use some Gifs and Video, the thing is when previewing in storyline 2 all is clear and videos are correct size, however when i publish the video size shrinks slighty and the Gifs are not as shown in the Storyline 2 preview and have lost quality.
Thanks for confirming those details, Glen. With your permission, I'd like to take a look at your .story file to investigate what's happening. You can share it publicly here, or send it to me privately by uploading it here. I'll delete it when I'm done troubleshooting!
Update: This course is hitting two bugs with HTML5 output in Storyline 2 so that videos are losing some quality and animated GIFs are seeing additional pixelation around the edges.
I've documented this behavior for our team, and I'll post any updates in this discussion.
Thanks for checking in. This issue still exists in Storyline 2, but I'm not finding any similar reports in Storyline 3 or Storyline 360. What update are you currently using?
I can share with you my latest project if you wish. It is uploaded on Articulate Review. I embedded a high quality gif to a slide but when I publish, it shows pixels around the edges.
I was looking for your case and only saw an issue you worked on with Anna where your results weren't displaying as expected in Articulate Online.
If you sent in another case for the issue with your GIFs, can you share that case number here with us? That way we can follow along and update the discussion as well!
Thanks for confirming it's the same file as shared in that case, Jocabed.
You mentioned that you were running into difficulty with a gif not displaying properly when published. Can you let me know what slide that is on? I'd be happy to take another look.
We do have an open issue with gif quality for gifs with transparent backgrounds, so I'm curious if that's what you're running into.

Hi Glen!
When you published your file, did you host the output on a web server or a LMS? Also, which browser did you use for testing?
We always recommend testing the output in it's intended environment (web server or LMS) and using one of these supported browsers.
Thanks for the reply, ive tested on our LMS and also im using latest version of Chrome, also tested on Internet Explorer and Android browser

Hi Jocabed! Yes, sending your latest project would be really helpful!
Instead of sending the Review 360 link, would you be willing to share the original Storyline file?

I can upload it privately. I submitted a ticket too. Sorry for the double posting!
