All of our courses are gated. We used a vendor to redo some old courses. I just noticed that in one course they used markers, and attached audio on the markers. Without using layers, how do I get the markers to gate? For example, how do I get the markers to work one at a time until the audio ends?
Thinking out loud with SL in front of me -- states & boolean variables with assignment triggers placed at the appropriate time line events? I think markers support states?
Perhaps I did not explain myself well. Each Marker has audio on it. Currently they can go marker to marker without the audio completing. and the slide will go the next slide. I want to find a change that, without using layers.

The Next button exposes a disabled state, then Change State on media complete
