I've seen this error message when someone didn't have enough space on their system to install Storyline 2. You can see the minimum system requirements here.
I'd also suggest that if you continue to see this error message you reach out to our Support team here.
I looked into a few other cases that mentioned that error, and those users were asked to conduct the repair of Storyline and then pull some system logs. Our Support engineers can assist you with the latter if you'd like to reach out to them here after going through the repair process.

I have the same problem and I´m trying to install it in a new computer so that couldn´t be de problem in my case
Google the error code. It may be your .NET framework installation; it doesn't sound like an SL related problem.
