Storyline 2 Player Border Not Showing

May 30, 2015

Hi,

Can someone please tell me why part of my player's border outline is cropped off after the courses are published and loaded to our LMS.  Our LMS is not SCORM so I am using the Web option.  During the preview in authoring, the border show up as normal.  Most of our course run in IE.  The border is at the size that the customer wants.

Hi Ted!

Thanks for posting your question here in the forums, and sorry to hear you've run into this issue! Is the issue only happening once the course is added to the LMS? Does it happen if you simply publish for web, and upload to a web server and then preview.

If it only happens when you add it to your LMS system, can you please try testing your published content at SCORM Cloud and comparing the results with your LMS. SCORM Cloud is an industry-standard testing engine, and although “SCORM” is in its name, you can also use it to test AICC and Tin Can API content. (Click here for AICC testing instructions.)

If your content works properly at SCORM Cloud but not in your LMS, open a support case with your LMS provider to troubleshoot the issue. Your LMS provider may request a debug log to help identify the problem. Click here to learn how to generate a debug log.

If your course doesn’t play correctly at SCORM Cloud, submit a case to Articulate.

Nicole,

I submitted a case.  However, after I went into the Configuration.js and set it to true.  I tested the course and everything show up fine.  Prior to this step, only the bottom of my player gets cropped off in SCORMCloud.  I looked at the error report page, but to tell you the truth, I don't even know what I'm supposed to look for.  I will attach the errors with this post.

Hi Ashley,

I tested a two slide course on tempshare and the player looks fine.  Sorry, I don't have a case number since I didn't  see one or pay attention for one after I submit it.  I have attached the course player from tempshare.  My other question is, so if it work without cropping my player on tempshare, then would be safe to assume its our LMS?

Hi Ted,

Without knowing you're LMS it's hard to say for certain - but if you're publishing for web and then uploading to an LMS, and seeing the behavior you may want to publish for LMS to confirm how that appears?

You would have receive an email notification with the case number, and I didn't see one just by searching your name as listed here - so it's possible it didn't go through or you did it under a different name. Can you check your junk/spam folder and confirm you submitted it here?
