Storyline 2 quiz reporting using LearnDash and Uncanny

Dec 21, 2016

We've created a course in Storyline 2 and are building a subscription Wordpress site (using WooCommerce memberships) and are using LearnDash and Uncanny Tin Can API.

Has anyone been able to get a Storyline Quiz to be able to report a score to LearnDash? So we can add the score to the customer's report/page?

Is it possible?

Any help would be great!

Hey John - hopefully some users will be able to chime in and assist you here. Strange enough, you are the second Learndash question today (other one is here), so maybe the two of you can find some additional users and assistance together :)

We typically advise testing via SCORM Cloud to verify that the course is working as intended. If it works great when uploaded there, then typically the user needs to follow up with their LMS team.

If, however, you run into issues with reporting in SCORM Cloud, then we would want to take a look.

Hello John! I also wanted to point out a few older threads you may find helpful. And even if you don't find exactly what you're looking for, you can certainly reach out to folks in those threads directly by using the Contact Me button from their ELH profiles.

Hi, we don't monitor this forum, but I wanted to clarify that our Tin Canny plugin is not an API; think of it as an LRS that lives inside WordPress. John, I'm not seeing a ticket or inquiry from you (to Uncanny Owl) about Storyline quiz tracking. If SCORM Cloud is capturing it then Tin Canny should be as well; let us know (via our website, as we're rarely on here) if you need any help with it.

Also note that in the original request there was mention of having the score reported to LearnDash, which is unfortunately not possible at all. Tin Canny tracks it separately; it's inside WordPress, but we can't save it with other LearnDash quiz data. Adding scores to the front end that are captured in Tin Canny is possible but would require development. (We've used Storyline quiz scores captured with Tin Canny to build custom leaderboards that are user-facing, for example.)

Thanks!
