I have created a course in Storyline 2. It has an MP4 file loaded for video and a sound file loaded separately. When you do the preview all works fine. When you publish the sound will not play. I cannot load as the course contains proprietary information. Any ideas?
I published as LMS and Web both to see if either worked and neither did. I did not actually load to the LMS but simply viewed the HTML5 output from the published files. The output is published to a secure drive. I viewed from Internet Explorer and we operate on version 11. I am really baffled as it worked yesterday morning. I had to make a change and it hasn't worked since. I even tried re-doing in a new file by rebuilding and that doesn't work either.
Since you published for LMS, have you tried testing the output on SCORM Cloud? It's an easy (and free!) tool for testing LMS content. You could also test the Web output on Tempshare.
Give it a try, and let me know if you see a difference!

Ah, I see. My first thought is security restrictions are causing the audio to fail--you can read more about that right here.
