I use the translation button a lot in Storyline, but now that I have Storyline 2, I used the button "translation" - "export", and I only get 2 columns. 1st column with the codes, and the 2nd column to translate.
In Storyline 1 you had 3 columns : the code column, then the column with the text to translate, and the 3rd column was the same as the 2nd one, but you could put your translated text in there, and still compare to the original text.
You can still get the three columns in Storyline 2, when you select to export for translation change the file type from "Word doc" to "Word doc with reference column" as described here.
