I have 10 items on my timeline which is showing with a duration of 300 seconds, how can I adjust this to be 10 seconds for all items without having to drag each one individually? (I have quite a lot of slides to do this for)
I have tried to select all and drag in one go and also the suggestion to select timeline and Ctrl -/+ but neither of these worked for me.

Please check the screenshot below.
Simply Drag that highlighted in yellow to the left and press Left Arrow on your Keyboard while you are dragging.

Use the "Timing" feature to easily set start/duration times.
3. In the Timing window, clear the Show until end of slide checkbox.
4. Enter a Start Time (when you want the item to appear) and Duration (how long you want the item to display).
5. Click Close.
