I have seen the "Unable to acquire LMS API" error occur before, and it's usually caused by the version of Java that you have installed. Some LMS’s use a Java API object to load content. Since content created in Articulate does not require Java, try this:
Contact your LMS provider and ensure that your installed version of Java is compatible with the version of the LMS you are using.
Thank you! Unchecking the launch in new window box helped.
All that is left is the player controls are not appearing when the course is launched. I've tried a few different settings but nothing brings them back.
