Is there a way to set up a result slide (or any slide) so that when the user clicks the button to go to another slide an email can also be sent (ie perhaps using a contact form or) to admin alerting us that the user has completed a task without using an LMS? THANKS
Crystal, I tried it, but it brings up the mail app on the computer for me to fill in before being sent. I am hoping to just have some kind of alert sent to my email letting me know a user has completed the course. Is there a way to do that? THANKS!
Sylvia, if you want to automate this process, it would probably be easiest to use a 3rd party service to send the email behind the scenese, which would not require any action from the user. Let me know if you would like me to look into this for you. Others here may have alternate solutions.
Thanks for the info Michael. I will keep you in mind. For now I have decided to integrate a survey done with contact form 7 and put it in Storyline as a web object. I think ?? it will accomplish what we are looking for.
Matthew Bibby has a demo here https://matthewbibby.com/drip/ that shows how to send an email from Storyline using Drip. Let me know if that works for you or if you would like to use a differen form-to-email service.

Hi Sylvia! Have you tried using the "send an email" trigger on that button?
Hi Crystal, no I haven't tried that. New area of SL for me. I'll try working on that today and come back here later :)....THANKS
