I have always wondered if Storyline HTML5 always loads the master irrespective of whether it has loaded on an earlier slide. Can anyone from the SL team, please answer the question as to whether using Master Slides has any bearing on how multiple slides with the same master load in a browser? Are there any savings apart from having it being streamlined production?
Slide masters certainly do play a big role in rapid e-learning development. Are you asking whether using them will cause a lag when viewing the published content in HTML5?
Slide masters definitely shouldn't cause a slow-down. If you do feel like your content is loading slowly, we'd want to take a closer look at your file.
Let me know if that answers your question, or if you had something else in mind!

Hey Alyssa, thanks for the reply! I need to if using masters quickens loading. My rudimentary tests indicate that it does not.
Thanks,
Abhinav
Hi Abhinav,
Slide load time should be the same whether you use a Slide Master or not. I hope that helps, and let us know if you have other questions!
