Please help!, i just want to try Articulate Storyline 3 on my old Windows 8 PC, i just downloaded it from the official website Articulate, and after installer is downloaded i just open it and appear dialog box "Articulate Storyline 3" and the install button won't click, i've tried restarting my PC couple times and this error happened again again and again. What is your solution to install Storyline 3 without error? Please contact me immeditiately
I have the same problem, I followed all the steps for installation also my windows 8 machine meet all the system requirements but the Install Now Button is deactivate on Articulate Storyline 3, Please help me what should I do?
Do you see the Storyline.exe file located on your computer? It sounds like it installed if the "install now" button is no longer active. I'd search through the Programs/Applications and try to run it.
Remember it needs to be installed as an administrator but run and activated by the end user on a computer.
If you're still stuck, let us know a bit more about what you're seeing (screenshots always help) and any other specifics of how you installed!
I followed all the steps for installation in my windows 7 machine and meet all the system requirements. But the Install Now Button is deactivate on Articulate Storyline 3.
Hi, I had this same issue on my Windows 8 machine. Couldn't click the install button. I decided to install all the latest Windows 8 updates and restarted my machine. When I tried again to install it, this time the purple install button appeared! But when I clicked it, it told me the installation file was corrupt. I'm not sure why because I used this same file to install it on my other PC, but at least it was good to have a reason this time! Maybe it could be something that happened whilst transferring the file to this PC. Anyway, I then downloaded the installation file again from the Articulate website (which I know is a pain as you have to wait for another 440mb file to download), but it fixed the issue for me! Hope it works for you too.
P.S. I chose to download the exe version instead of the zip version... Not sure if this was what made the difference, but it might be worth trying.
I wanted to try Articulate Storyline 3 but i am not able to install. I followed all the steps which you provided still no luck. Install button is disabled. Please let me know what can be done for the same. I am using windows 7 ultimate 64 bit OS
I'm sorry you're still running into difficulty installing Storyline 3. Did you try downloading the EXE or the Zipped version - I'd try the opposite to see if that resolves the issue you've run into. You'll find all the download links and options here.
If not, and you still need help our Support team is available to take a look!
We've just upgraded/bought 3 licences for SL3 but having the same issue. We're running windows on parallel. Tried admin mode on win8 and 10 - didn't work on both too. How was this resolved? Re-download?
Thanks for letting us know. For the benefit of others reading this thread, Rais's solution was to install the required .NET Runtime & Visual C++ services outlined here:
It looks like Simon and Rais were able to install Storyline 3 - and I saw you had a support case with Wilbert previously for this issue. He had shared the following with you:
It sounds like you might be experiencing a Windows 7 limitation that occurs when Aero is disabled. Storyline 3 requires Aero to be enabled in Windows 7 if you're using a high-DPI setting (i.e., a high-resolution monitor). See this article for details and quick solution.

Is it a native Windows environment or a virtual machine on a Mac?

Thanks for reaching out here and connected with our Support Engineers too! I'm sorry you're still struggling with the steps to get up and running with the trial of Storyline. On the screenshot you sent to our team, I also didn't see the Install button even on the pop up box.
Two things to try while you wait for our team to get back to you..
Confirm that Storyline install files (.EXE) were downloaded and are trying to install locally

Did you follow these steps when you initially tried installing Storyline 3? Also, does your Windows 8 machine meet these system requirements?

Install this file maybe your problem is solved and Restart the system after installation .This problem is involved with installing the .NET Framework
Yes. its working fine for me. My problem is solved now.
Thanks smko ghazi.
Glad that smko was able to help you out here Bhupendra.
Thanks for chiming in with an update.
how to fix the below error the trail version is not install my system
Hi dd,
The .NET Framework 4.5.2 should be installed automatically if you don't have it when you're installing Storyline 3. If it's not working correctly, I'd go through the steps here to repair/reinstall Storyline 3 and it should work.
