A great tip from Melanie! If everything checks out there, can I confirm that you're working on a local hard drive? Working on a shared drive can cause assets to appear blank, so I always like to rule that out as the culprit.

Also, are you comfortable with attaching the .story file publicly here or privately by this link for a closer look? I'll try previewing it on my end, and delete the file when we nail the culprit!
