Storyline and the Department of Defense's computers running "isolation" browsers

Feb 14, 2022

Greetings,

My company provides training to the United States Air Force. We build our learning modules in Articulate Storyline 360 and publish to the web with HTML5.  Our contact there alerted us to a new BIG problem. It appears that DOD issued computers are now running special versions of common browsers that utilize an Isolation technology. He demonstrated the affect while we had on Team's meeting today.  The modules takes a long time to load. When it does eventually run, we could see the page and then hear the audio playing, but the screen elements would not appear as the timeline moved to the end.  So, bullet points timed to the audio would never come up. If the user grabs the slider and pulls it across, the elements will appear.  Has anyone encountered this issue yet and if so, have you discovered any solutions? I did screen grab the little icon that now appears at the bottom of all DOD computer browsers and I've attached.

Kind regards,

Dan
