Is there a way to make the audio stop once a user has moved away from the slide? Example. I would like to have background sound on a slide but it also has a link to an external site. Is there a way to make the music stop once a link is clicked? Like a trigger?
Hi Leslie, I guess I am doing something in a very primitive way. I have a title slide with a V/O which has 3 modules. So the title slide branches off to 3 modules. It works great for the first module. However when the user comes back to the title slide to access another module, the V/O plays again..which I do not want to. I know there is a solution, but cannot figure it out. I have couple of scenes like this one. Any help would be fantastic. thanks so much
I did try to do it, but somehow it is not working out. Please could you take a look, and offer any suggestions, how to use the play media or tweak the variables. Many thanks,

Hi Wendy,
I did try to do it, but somehow it is not working out. Please could you take a look, and offer any suggestions, how to use the play media or tweak the variables. Many thanks,

Try these changes to your project:
Add audio to slide Select-Module (it can have any name, but here I am calling it "Audio 1".
Create variable audioComplete T/F variable with initial value False.
Add trigger on Audio 1: Adjust variable audioComplete to value True when media "Audio1" completes.
Add trigger on slide Select-Module: Stop media "Audio 1" when timeline on slide starts if variable audioComplete = True
Set slide Select-Module reset to initial state when revisiting.
Thanks, Leslie.
I have not go a chance to try it out, and will do so today.
Thanks
Thank you, Walts. I will try this out.

Hi Walt,
This works very nicely.
However two questions for you.
1) I am not sure how to "Set slide Select-Module reset to initial state when revisiting."?
2) As of now "Add trigger on Audio 1: Adjust variable audioComplete to value True when media "Audio1" completes." works very well.
However is there any way to suppress the audio even if the audio plays partially the first time?
Thanks again!
Indrani
This will allow you to set the revisiting state:
Change the trigger to adjust the variable when the timeline starts and it will suppress the audio the next time whether it has finished or not.
Thank you, so much. I will try this out.
