I don't know if anyone else has run into this issue, but I have a weird bug with Storyline where the program suddenly begins to save after every interaction with the program. Restarting the program does not solve the issue.
The only fix I have found is to completely shut down my machine.
haven't heard of this but you might like to look at these links to repair Storyline and also make sure you are working locally not from a network drive or usb - that sometimes causes funky behaviour.
I definitely haven't heard of that - as Storyline doesn't have an auto save feature - although there is an auto recovery element detailed here. I'd also look into the links Wendy shared, specifically repairing Storyline (the first link is the full detailed repair).
Yeah, I've got Storyline all up to date. It could very well be a conflict happening with some of the backup software that IT has running on my machine here at work. It's just it only ever happens with Storyline.
Oh well. It doesn't happen that often, and it gives me an excuse to get up and get more coffee while I reboot. :)

Hi Mark,
It's definitely an interesting scenario - if you're able to disable the IT backup software, it may help you determine if that's the cause.
But at least you're looking on the positive side - as we can always use more coffee and an excuse to walk away from our desks! :-)
