Storyline course marks complete/resume

May 30, 2014

Thanks ahead for answering this question/quandry:

We have a course that was created in Storyline/our LMS is SABA. The course has 10 questions that are scattered throughout the course.

Here's the problem:

You start the course and if you quit before you have answered any questions, it stays in your "in-progress" learning and you may go back and resume where you left, BUT if you have answered any questions and quit and gone back to the course, it will move you to "complete" and mark your score from how ever many questions that you have taken. You can resume the course, but not get a better score when you finally complete the entire course.

Any idea on any setting that would correct this behavior?

Hi Kathy and welcome to Heroes!

What tracking method are you using for your course, by slides viewed or by visiting the results slide?

You may also want to begin by reviewing this article on troubleshooting common LMS issues with reporting and tracking.  Specifically you may want to look at testing the course at SCORM Cloud, which is an industry standard for testing SCORM Content and see if the course behaves as expected there. If the course behaves as expected there you'll want to share those results with your SABA team.
