Storyline Course Player Accessibility Issue

I recently tested a course I built in Storyline 360 with a colleague who has a visual impairment and uses the JAWS screen reader. When testing, this person struggled to navigate the course player efficiently with JAWS to even get to the content on the slide, and then each time she wanted to move to the next slide she'd have to tab through every single slide control just get to the previous and next buttons on the course player. I couldn't find any way to adjust screen reader accessibility on the course player, and I'm not sure if there is a better way to have JAWS users navigate the course player. Am I missing something or is there a guide for how to navigate the course player with a screen reader?

It sounds like you had some questions about the functionality of the JAWS screen reader when your learners are viewing a course. I'd be happy to share some insight on that!
The Storyline 360 player controls have been organized into logical groups, with added ARIA landmarks and restructured player features to follow a consistent order and hierarchy when navigating with a screen reader. Using the tab key to navigate to the previous and next button is the expected behavior and what we would suggest when using a screen reader like JAWS.
