Storyline course transfer

Hello,
My company is buying new Storyline licenses. I was only recently hired and I am going to be getting a new copy of Storyline that will be mine. Currently, I hop onto a co-workers computer and use their copy when I need to work on a course (this is not the best solution but this will resolve soon with the new purchase). How I can transfer or save the courses I made in Storyline from that license to my new licensee? Could I just save the original file on my desktop and then when I get my license open it up? Would I need to officially transfer it somehow? Is there a place to cloud save it during the transfer?

A license allows you to use Storyline to edit any file you can get your hands on. If you can find the .story file from your computer, you can load it into and edit it with SL. The only problem you might have is if your co-worker's account saves the file somewhere that you don't have access.
Once you start working, be sure to save your work locally, to prevent well-documented problems.
