Storyline Crashing when recording Audio

Jun 27, 2019

Hi,
We are having an issue with story line where it crashes randomly whilst recording audio, we have updated audio drivers and updated the OS (Windows 10) and updated windows to no avail. Has anyone else seen this issue ?

The issue is random and can occur after a few seconds or an hour after starting recording, Event Viewer shows the application crashing with an "unhandled Exception" as below.

Application: Storyline.exe
Framework Version: v4.0.30319
Description: The process was terminated due to an unhandled exception.
Exception Info: System.ObjectDisposedException

Hello Lee,

May I ask if you already tried reinstalling the Storyline application? You might also need to consider the the services being processed on the background. You can try checking the CPU, Disk and RAM percentage on the Task Manager when you are recording audio. You can access the task manager by right-clicking the task bar then choose "Task Manager" or on your keyboard, press CTRL+ALT+Delete and select Task Manager.
