Storyline example: Astro-School
At Loughborough College, we have been using Storyline for quite some time and thought it might be a good time to show an example of what we are getting up to.
Recently we ran an eLearning training day. Before the day staff had to complete a pre-task challenge to grant them their place.
This challenge was created on storyline 2 to;
1. Generate excitement for the day
2. Set the scene for the training day
3. Check for prior learning
4. Give staff knowledge that they would be assessed on during the day
We thought you might like a little look. Let us know if you have any feedback below.
Attempt the Astro-School challenge (you will need speakers/headphones)
Thanks to Bastiaan Timmer for the matching game template, Nasa for the image above and bensound.com for the awesome music.

Loving this! I got stuck on the "Closest to the Sun" screen in the under pressure section - it advises to "drag your answer over the one you think is correct." My answer was a planet, so I kept trying to drag the word Mercury, as that was my answer. I think maybe it should say drag the question to your answer, or something like that? I was fully stuck, til Ashley told me what to drag.
Matt this made my day - I really enjoyed it!
I'd agree with Phil you could likely get rid of the prev/next buttons - and then just let the user click on the screen to advance as you have set up on some slides. Otherwise...nailed it. :)

Matt, thank you so much for sharing this epic challenge! Even though I couldn't seem to pass it myself, I've added it to our examples hub here so that everyone can be inspired!
Hi Chris,
I'm not sure if Matt is still subscribed here, but you could reach out to him directly using the "contact me" button on his profile.

Thanks Ashley, will do.
Super cool Matt! Thanks for sharing. It's a nice touch making someone feel like they are the ONLY one to complete the level :) Fun.

really Nice Matt, love the collision detection on the hand eye coordination test.
I bet you could post this into a few of the Aticulate challenges.
I think with just a little rejigging you could get rid of the Stock Next/Prev buttons and make it perfect.

Thanks Phil!
I agree with you and Ashley about the next and previous buttons. Unfortunately we had to prepare the training day and just ran out of time. If I find a suitable challenge I’ll amend it before reposting.

My e-Learning production team looked at your Storyline Game, fantastic! Hoping to put something similar together in the coming months as a fun exercise for the Astronauts. Thanks for the inspiration!

Truly outstanding!
That was so cool, Matt! You know it's a hit when your kids, who normally don't pay a bit of attention to anything you do, are behind you yelling, "I want to play!!"

This is awesome, Matt, and thanks so much for sharing! I thought I might stop in to mention in case you were unaware, we have a design-related forum here as well, in case you'd like to reach even more of the community for feedback. :)
