I'd agree, it looks like that file you're attempting to access was opened in a Beta version of Storyline. Those versions have new features that aren't yet compatible with our existing public version of Storyline.
If you need help confirming that and removing that element, please feel free to share with our Support Team!
If you create a new file in storyline the file is upgraded and includes the scroll panels even if you don't use them. SL3 at the moment cannot open these. I would expect a fix to this when the next version of SL3 is released. In the meantime during the beta of this feature Articulate could downgrade a file so it could be opened in the SL360 production version. I don't know if that will work for SL3 I would open a support case and ask them.

Any chance the file was opened in a beta version?

What happened here? I'm not working in a beta version and I get the same message when I aim to open a file in SL3 built in 360 .
Current SL360 files are not compatible with SL3
Can you elaborate on this a little more, please, Phil. I desperately need to open a 360 file in SL3.
