Storyline image not updating

Hello -
I'm having an issue with an image not updating in my published storyline file. The new image shows up okay in Storyline and in the preview mode, but when I go to publish my file, the final result is still the OLD image.
I've tried:
- renaming the new image file, so there's no cache confusion
- renaming my storyline file
- publishing to a different location
- clearing the cache in both IE and Chrome for viewing
Nothing is working...the same old image file keeps populating! My Storyline file is kind of large with several slides, so maybe that's part of the issue?

That does sound strange. Are you working with local files? Try to make sure that the course you're editing and the image files are local. Work on your local drive (your C: drive). Working on a network drive or a USB drive can cause erratic behavior, including file corruption, loss of audio, and other unexpected behavior. You should also make sure the directory path to your project files and your published output is less than 260 characters (for example C:\Articulate). Avoid using special characters, accents or symbols in your file names.

Are you able to insert the updated image into a new Storyline course? You could try placing it in a new course, then importing it into the original course as a new slide.
