I am working on my first gamification course and I'm so excited to play around with Storyline. So my game has more than one quiz results slide and most of them are not visible to the learners. I have used these results slide just to group some of the questions I have in the course. And these results slides lie stranded in the upper right corner in my Story View. My question/concern is - if I select one of these invisible results slide in the LMS tracking window, will the LMS accept the score? Please help.
The user will need to visit the results slide to allow the trigger to be executed in terms of capturing the results and final score to report to your LMS. They'll actually need to visit any and all results slides that are a part of calculating the score - but you can customize them to look as you wish in terms of not displaying an actual total or score and quickly navigating to the next slide with a trigger such as "jump to next slide when the timeline starts" - just ensure that trigger appears after the "submit results" trigger. If you're using more than on results slide you'll also want to review the information here about how to calculate the score, as only one result slide can be reported to the LMS.
No, you'll still need the results slide as that is where the information is gathered and tabulated, but the "submit results" trigger needs to be included as well. The user only needs to visit that slide, but you can customize the slide itself to look as you wish, as long as it's still based on a results slide as that is where you indicate what questions to include as a part of the tracking and such.

Thanks Ashley. That helps. :-)
So if I use a 'Submit results' trigger in any existing slide that I have, I need not even have a separate 'Results Slide'. Is that true?

Aah..!! yes i missed the fact that we indicate the results slide for tracking. Alright. Thanks. This helps. :-)
