I created a course using Storyline and published the course to CD. When I review the published content, the output freezes. I must close all windows and reopen -- thank goodness for bookmarking . Does anyone have any suggestions for this issue? I don't want learners to have to deal with this!
First, make sure you're launching the content with the .EXE file that is generated after publishing for CD. Are you running the .EXE file locally, or does this happen after you've burned the content onto a disc?
If it's an issue with confidentiality, please keep in mind that any files sent to us (using the form I linked to earlier) will be kept private. Also, we'd be happy to sign a disclosure, if needed.
It's a little difficult to troubleshoot the issue without seeing the file, but I can still try to share some suggestions with you. If you haven't already, you may want to make sure you're using the most recent release of Flash. To find out what version you're currently using, please take a look at this page.
Also, are you able to successfully view the content if you use any of the other methods for publishing (web server, LMS, etc.)?

I am double clicking on the Launch_Story.EXE file. I am running the file locally.
Hi Kandance,
Any chance you can share the .STORY file here, so I can take a look? You're also welcome to send it to us privately.
Hello!
I actually cannot share the .Story file. I work for a Hospital Corporation, and the .STORY includes sensitive information.
Is there anything else that we could try?
Good morning Kandance!
