Storyline/Presenter player cut off on iPad

Hello,
We have used Presenter and now Storyline for our eLearning courses. There are many people on our team that use iPads to take the course.
However, in each case, the player is cut off. In Landscape mode, the timeline and both Next and Previous buttons are cut off. In Portrait mode the right side of the player is cut off.
I have tried publishing it using all the different options I can think of, and nothing seems to help.
We cannot use the Aritculate App, as I have found out that since our LMS needs each user to login, the app is not compatibile.
Any suggestions would be great. Thank you!

Hi Joe,
Can you tell us what kind of dimensions your courses are using? If you're designing a course that'll be viewed on an iPad, you'll want to use a 4:3 aspect ratio in order to make the best use of all the screen area. More details in this article...
Lots of great suggestions over in this thread as well.
Currently, I'm using the default dimensions (4:3) and it still gets cut off on the iPad. However, it's important to note that the only way to access our courses is through Safari and logging into our LMS through it since we cannot use the Articulate iPad app.
It appears I have to make the length and width a good amoutn smaller to view correclty, however I still need to test this. I will be testing it out later this afternoon.
Thanks, Joe.
I'd be curious to know if the cut offs occur outside of your LMS, like if you test the course directly through Tempshare, for example...
Thanks for the link. It looks perfect using Tempshare. Not sure how to fix it using our LMS.
Just tested changing the height and width, and it still cuts off the timeline and Next and Previous buttons in landscape mode.
Hi Joe,
I'm guessing your particular LMS adds some kind of toolbar or navigation tabs to the browser window, forcing the content into the player area. Do you have a screenshot of what it looks like? (With an iPad, you can take a screenshot by simultaneously pressing the sleep and home buttons). If that's the case, you may need to see if your LMS team might be able to do something about reducing or removing whatever is causing the spillover.
Could your LMS possibly be launching the course in a frameset rather than a new window? Best practice for tablet devices is a new window to give the course full screen width and height.

Our LMS team is looking into removing the toolbars. There is one above and on the left which seems to be causing it to move. It's odd that you can't pinch and zoom like other pages though so you can just see everything.
It is opening in a new window, however the LMS is adding blank toolbars on the top and left which moves the entire course over which cuts it off. Training on an iPad is essentially not possible right now unfortunately.
Unfortunately, I can't send a screenshot because our iPad's are not set up for email.
Just wanted to give an update. We found a setting within our LMS that changes the "skin" of the eLearning courses. This eliminated the toolbars, and thus allowed a perfect view of each course on both Portrait and Landscape mode.
Thank you all for your help!
