Storyline Quiz - rendering BLANK page in Chrome

Oct 15, 2017

Hello

We are having a 'blank page' rendering issue when using Chrome for our Quiz.  The same Quiz renders properly in IE.  Is anyone else having this issue?

Your input would be great!

Thanks

jan

Hi,

We have a similar problem with a course that has a question bank of 75 questions, and I write to know if there are any updates regarding this issue.

In our case, when you want to redo a question, the course crashes and doesn't work anymore. We have tried to publish it using the last version of Storyline 360, as it is mentioned here , but it still doesn’t work.

Here I give you more information:

  • We use Storyline 360 last version, 3.12.14647.0, but we have also tried with older versions.
  • We publish for LMS: we have tried to publish it with both formats, HTML5 with Flash fallback, and Flash with HTML5 fallback.
  • The published content is hosted in an eLearning campus, but it doesn't work either when you launch it directly from the publication to Chrome (version 64).

Thanks, kind regards,

Nuria

Hi Nuria,

Sorry to hear that you're running into an issue re-trying your questions.

You mention that it's happening in your LMS. Does the crashing happen when the content is uploaded to SCORM Cloud as well?

If so, we would certainly want to take a look at your .story project file. If you cannot share here in the forums, you are welcome to share here privately.

Hi Steve,

Thanks for reaching out! Janet had opened a case with us, but found success in updating her Storyline software.

If you find yourself running into the same issue, feel free to connect with a support engineer and we can take a look at your file to see if we can replicate. These questions will help us find the answer more quickly:

  • What version of Storyline are you using?
  • Did you publish for LMS or Web?
  • Where is the published content hosted when you test it?
