Storyline's slide advance without timing trigger

this just came up on a different post and is a common question.  there is a setting in the slide properties that controls this.

But...is there a central setting to do this for all slides instead of changing it on individual slides.

Hi Lynn,

There isn't a global setting per se. But what you can do is

• Switch to Story View
• Select all the slides (Pressing Ctrl+A on the keyboard is the fastest way to do this)
• In the trigger pane on the right, do as Tim has shown in the screenshot above: drop the slide advances arrow done and select By User
