I'm trying to find a way to make Storyline screen recording consistently snap to the same location each time I capture. For example, you know how SnagIt or Captivate will snap to the 0,0 position of the active application window? With Storyline I have to manually position the capture region onto my application. That's OK if you capture everything in one attempt, but often I need to go back in and re-capture a screen, or add a few new screens, and if I don't position the capture region in the exact position, the video jumps a few pixels and doesn't look great. Am I missing something here? Any ideas for workarounds? Thanks!
What you've mentioned is the expected behavior of the Record Screen tool in Storyline 360. I can see where it would be helpful if the screen recording jumped to the same location! If you'd like, I can share this with my team in the form of a feature request.
