I've built a quiz in Storyline that allows the user 3 attempts to pass. The client has also requested a time limit of 90 minutes. The timer is set to start from the first question. If the user gets to the results slide and did not pass, when they click retry and are taken back to the first question, the timer resets to 0:00.
How do I keep the timer from restarting so that the user has 90-minutes for all attempts?
The Storyline quiz timer is for each attempt at a quiz, but if you'd like to lock them to a total 90 minutes, I'd suggest checking with your LMS team. They may have an option that would allow for a user to be locked out of the quiz after a period of time.
Hi Emily, I was wondering if you had any luck with workarounds for this in the end? I am trying to achieve this at the moment by creating my own timer in the master slide and then adding triggers, however I've not been successful at getting this to work yet. (I've opened a different discussion to try and get help with this.)
