I've produced numerous Studio 09 and Storyline 1 courses for a large company that still uses IE8. We haven't had any browser-related issues. (I'm looking forward to using SL2 for them soon.)
Thanks Judy. I read some issues with IE 8 not loading storyline files, but they were from a few years ago so good to know you haven't experienced any issues and thanks for the LMS info link.

FYI: There can be issues based on the LMS. For example, when I publish for the Saba LMS, I have to edit some files. (See https://community.articulate.com/discussions/articulate-storyline/storyline-based-activity-being-marked-unsuccessful-by-saba-lms# ) You can search Articulate's site to see if there's info about the LMS you're dealing with.
