Storyline won't publish after todays update

Jan 23, 2020

Anyone else having issues with publishing since latest update? Published fine this morning, updated this afternoon and constant crashing.

Tried the usual workaround of importing to a new file, saving in new location etc., still crashing.

Any known issue??

Hi Marc,

I haven't seen reported issues with publishing at the moment. However, I am happy to dive in to help! Is this happening to a specific file, or does this happen when you try to publish any file? Also, when publishing the course, which publishing options are you choosing?

If you need our help to take a look at your file, we're always more than happy to help! You can share files in this thread here, or you’re always welcome to share them privately here. We'll let you know our findings and will delete it after having a closer look!

Hi Vincent

Myself and others in our team are also having issues with publishing after the latest update.

We use 360 and all of our employees use IE11 and now when we publish we cannot use the pause, play, replay and drag the scroll bar.

This has been proved on multiple projects and on numerous machines. This issue has been posted a few days ago on another thread but nothing has been done.

Hi Guadalupe and Mac005,

It doesn't look like we heard back from Marc and we haven't had any documented outages with publishing to Review 360.

Can you both check that you're on Update 36 of Storyline 360? Do you see an error message when attempting to publish or the course freezes and never appears in Review 360?

It'll be best to work with our Support Team one-on-one so that you can share files with them and they can attempt publishing as well! Let us know if you reach out, so we can follow along and update this discussion.
