Please help. All of a sudden my storyline won't save - the "progress bar " for saving stays blank and the whole thing just freezes. After editing a video, it takes about 10 minutes to save it
I've tried uninstalling it and re-installing it and that didn't help.
Thanks for the link. I discovered that it didn't like the videos that I was inserting. It seemed to take ages to save them, after I had trimmed them. So, I used another app to trim the videos, inserted them into Storyline and managed to save the story that way. Bit of a work around, but don't know what else to do!
Sorry to hear about the issues you've run into - and thanks for reaching out here. In addition to the solutions Priyanka mentioned, did you also look to confirm that you were working with the latest update of Storyline 2 Update 7 and working on local project files (including the video) as detailed here? What type of video file was it? Was it particularly large? It should work when inserting into Storyline - but Storyline isn't designed to have robust video editing capabilities, so if you're running into difficulty editing it inside another video editing tool is always a good idea.

Hi Kathy,
This is the best approach to do editing in some other tool rather than in articulate because you will be saved from such freezing issues.
Hi, Kathy -- Thanks so much for sharing the update on what worked for you! Also, when it comes to more general issues with freezing or the inability to save, another thing to keep in mind beyond the troubleshooting steps listed here, is that it's always important to Create, Edit, and Publish Articulate Storyline Courses on Your Local Hard Drive.
