Storyline1 won't launch

Installed Storyline1 on a XP laptop that i am building for an employee here (I work in IT).  Launched Storyline1 and it hung on adding views.  Restarted and launched and it hung on adding views.  Restarted again and launched and it finally went in and will now launch under my profile.  Delivered the laptop to the owner and when they launch Storyline it hangs on adding views.  Many restarts haven't changed anything.  Does anyone know how to get around this?  Could the splash screen be covering up a dialog box that is asking a question?  Any help is greatly appreciated as i would like to deliver this laptop today and get it off my desk.  Thanks, Tim
