Storyline2: Recording Area not appearing in Remote Desktop Window

Hi,
I'm trying to capture my actions within a Remote Desktop.
Note that Storyline 2 is installed on the client machine and the screen to be captured (Intranet site in an IE browser window)is open on the Remote Desktop (Citrix)
Following are the steps that i'm following:
1. Opened up Storyline 2
2. Added a new slide
3. Clicked on the Record your screen button
4. Resized recording area
5. Switched to remote desktop but the recording area dashed outline is now not appearing.
So the remote desktop screen is being captured but i'm unable to record the correct window as the recording area is not available to resize. Can you suggest a solution for this?

Hi Beta,
You'll need to have Storyline installed in the environment in which you wish to conduct the recording, and Storyline isn't supported in a server environment such as Citrix.

Thanks for your response.
This is a little odd because we were able to capture the remote desktop screens using Storyline sometime earlier. Can you suggest any work arounds for this? As I mentioned, we are able to capture the screens on the remote desktop but we are unable to set the recording area on the RDP.

I don't have a similar set up, so I'm not sure I've seen any workarounds or could devise any so I'll defer to the community who may have some thoughts. You may want to look at moving around windows on the RDP to ensure they fall within the recording area.
