I wanted to readjust the size of a video screenshot by stretching it. It works if left alone. However, if I add a zoom, the video displays in its original dimensions which leaves unfilled space. Is there a way to use a zoom and a stretched video at the same time?
The zoom is going to rely on the original dimensions. Are you able to edit the sizing of the video prior to inserting it into Storyline?
Also, keep in mind that scaling a video inside Storyline could contribute to a loss or decrease in the quality of the video. You'll find more details here.
I'm trying to superimpose a video on a picture of a computer monitor then zoom into the monitor. It's a bit of a guessing game on the dimensions of the monitor in the picture. I've considered cropping the video in Storyline but the video editor doesn't let me crop in relation to the other items on the slide. Again, kinda a guessing game.
I wasn't sure if you were using Storyline 360 or not, but if you are, there's a really easy trick to figure out the sizing! Take a look at this quick peek!
