Submit / Swipe Functionality

I have a course that uses custom built show correct layers. From the show correct layer the user should select the try again button, which takes them to the base layer. However, on an iPad the user is able to swipe on the show correct layer, although the submit button is disabled. When the user swipes on a custom show correct layer either:

  • the course stops working, a black screen appears
  • they are taken to the try again layer

Has anyone encountered this problem? 

Currently my proposed fixes are:

  • disable swiping on these slides, which gives an inconsistent user experience throughout the course
  • disable swiping on ALL slides, but that seems counter intuitive for a course that can be completed on an iPad/tablet or a computer.

Is there another way to solve this problem?
