I have a client project to "break out" an Infographic I designed, and turn it into a more interactive experience for Sales Teams.
I think Articulate will do the job, but Andrea in Sales suggested I float the design and see what you guys think... any ideas on suitability etc very welcome!
This can easily be done in Storyline. You col either recreate this 'verbatim' in a vertically tall Storyline file (that would require vertical scrolling in a browser), apply a parallax-like effect to it (so the sections 1-6 are revealed by Up/Down buttons) or you could change the design completely and make it interactive. For example, the initial view could show the 6 sections, connected by a dotted line. As you click each number, the more detailed view would be revealed. Lots of options here...
That's hard to say. Depending on which design choices you make, you'll be okay wit using simple clickable hotspots/objects, basic triggers and layers; or, for designs with more pizazz, you'll need to know your way around motion path animations, custom states and variables.

That’s encouraging news… as a beginner, would you have an opinion on skill level? I’m a designer by trade so quite quick on the uptake…

Fair point… one more question… does Storyline act responsively in browsers?
D.
No, Storyline can SCALE content, but does not rearrange content dynamically based on screen size like a true Responsive Design layout.
OK… but good to deploy sales material to a team with iPads…?
D.
Storyline can publish to HTML5 for use on mobile devices, e.g. iPads. Storyline also provides a free player app that is available for both iOS and Android. See here for some info on publishing options for mobile devices: https://community.articulate.com/series/4/articles/publishing-a-course-for-mobile-devices
