Suspending Audio
Dec 16, 2015
Hi,
I'm very new to Storyline (still using Story line 1). I'm hoping someone can help. I have two issues.
- I've created a slide which has three scenario choices - each choice has a different scene the user can view. After each scene is viewed the user will click a button at the bottom which takes them back to the scenario slide to choose another scenario. I have audio on the scenario choice slide but I want it to play only the first time the slide is visited, not each time the user goes back to it to select another scenario. Is there a way have the audio only play one time.
- After the user views a scenario how can I make that scenario gray out? I tried adding a trigger to the object - change state of object to visited when user ...but not sure to select.
Thanks

Hi Christie - Thank you for responding, I tried uploading the file but it's too large. Any suggestions on I can upload part of the file.
Hi, Jeanette -- If you would be able to pare down the file to focus on the areas where you need assistance and upload the abbreviated version, that would be great!
I think I may have solved my issue (doing the happy dance) but I would still like for you to review the file to make sure I did it correctly. I set the " when revisiting" function to automatically decide.
Thanks again

Hi, Jeanette -- Everything appears to be in order as far as I can tell, but others in the community are welcome to weigh in with their thoughts or ideas if they'd like! :)
Thank you! I'm so excited. I've been working on this project for a month. It feels good to be almost finished.
